News: Announcements and Changes The CSv2 teams continue their diligent efforts to provide the cancer registry community with the CSv2 products for 2010 implementation. The CSv2 Work Group is pleased to announce that the specific schema will be available in pdf format in May, 2010. The schemas will be grouped by anatomic site, e.g., the “lower GI” pdf will contain schemas for appendix, carcinoid appendix, GIST appendix, colon, GIST colon, NET colon, rectum, GIST rectum, NET rectum, and anus. This format will facilitate downloading the schema and navigation between tables within the schema, and at the same time, not require manipulation of over 1000 pages of tables with a complete download of all schemas. A new release (version 02.02.00) has been added April 29, 2010. This release includes updates for issues detected by system tests and mapping refinements as requested by the Mapping and IT teams. Details on the specific updates included in this release is documented and posted on the software page. The Collaborative Staging Web site serves as the main repository for CS-related items including publications, software, educational activities, etc., for cancer registrars and cancer registry software vendors.
