The Finance Committee, in collaboration with the AJCC staff, is responsible for monitoring AJCC funds, reviewing and advising on budget considerations, and identifying strategies to expand funding sources to support both short-term and long-term activities and initiatives.
Membership and Bylaws Committee
The Membership and Bylaws Committee is responsible for identifying potential new members from sponsoring, founding and liaison organizations and the oncology community at large, who can provide AJCC with the expertise required to support its mission and objectives, and to perform timely and periodic reviews of the bylaws and to submit recommendations for amendments to the Executive and Full Committees.
The Informatics Committee is responsible for initiating a dialogue with the National Cancer Institute caBIG, translate TNM to digital standards, participate in the design and development of AJCC electronic products, maintain the AJCC Web site and establish/investigate relationship with EMR vendors related to staging.
Education & Promotions Committee
The Education and Promotions Committee is responsible for developing short and long-term strategies for promoting the AJCC TNM staging system through related products, educational and scientific presentations, journal articles and other initiatives to increase use of the staging system by all constituents.
